Engagement sessions should be FUN!!
Hayley and Calvin are my favorite type of clients! When they reached out to me about being their wedding photographer, and booking engagement photos they already had such a clear idea of what they wanted. I always encourage couples to include personal and meaningful elements into their shoots, and these two knocked it out of the park.
They decided to include their sweet dog Alfie, their super cool vintage truck, and some adorable Disney hats!
I knew they wanted fall colors and to be able to park their truck somewhere scenic so it could be included in the photos, so I set out to find a new location that fit their needs.
I always thought Red Lake was a beautiful spot, but finding the route to the meadow I wanted was not something I had been able to find before now.
Now that I have found it, it is one of my all time favorite spots! There is such a beautiful variety of backdrops, and the lighting is to die for!
I cannot wait to shoot their wedding this October at the Twisting T Bar Ranch in Gardnerville, Nevada! Did I mention that this will be my second year in a row capturing a couples wedding on my own anniversary?!?! I know a lot of people wouldn't take bookings on their own anniversary, but I actually love it. I truly enjoy seeing other couple's at their happiest.
